Through necessity, in the last 10 years Nizpro have become heavily involved in transmission upgrades for the ZF 6HP26.
The ZF6HP26 is commonly used in Australia’s Ford Falcon Turbo and V8 models. With the ever increasing power we are making out of these engines (at the time of writing we have quite a few road driven vehicles with over 1000hp), it was only natural that the automatic transmissions become a weak link. We currently manufacture our own heavy duty billet input and intermediate shafts, baskets, friction discs, planetary gear carriers and more.
We are also able to tune these transmissions in a way that provides both longevity and un-matched performance. We also provide transmission tuning courses attended by workshops from all over Australia.
Other ZF Models – 6HP19, 6HP21, 6HP28, 6HP32, 6HP34, 8HP, 9HP
Variants of the Ford Falcon’s ZF6HP26 that we have come to know so well are common in many vehicles such as BMW, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Lincoln, Maserati, Kia, Hyundai, Bentley, VW, Audi, Range Rover and Land Rover.
We have had a lot of interest from the overseas markets, especially for BMW vehicles, which we have started doing more and more of.
Ford 6R Family – 6R80, 6R75
The Ford Mustang Supercharged V8 is being released into the Australian market soon. Nizpro have already pre-purchased a vehicle to being development on the 6R80 automatic transmission as soon as it lands. With our success with ZF6HP26 which the 6R80 is based off, we feel we will excellent results out of these transmissions also.
