Ford Flash Tuner
Flash Tuner was
developed with the assistance of SCT in America for
the total BA/BF range from the standard 6 and 8
cylinder, XR6 Turbo and up to Re-engineered 2 bar
map programming for forced induction XR8's and GT's.
The system consists of a cable, control box and
software. Programs are loaded and stored in the
hardware box, the box may also be connected to a
laptop for adjustments and tuning. The process of
loading a new program consist of connecting to the
OBDII port where the hardware removes the original
program from the ECU, stores it and then loads the
modified program into the ECU. The plug and box are
then disconnected and stored, the car is now ready
to drive. If the ECU needs to be returned to
standard, it is a simple process of reloading the
standard program.
 The Flash Tuner is so easy to use, a few simple
steps is all it takes to load a new program into a
vehicle.
