Here we will showcase some of the many vehicles that come through our doors.
Ford F250
Turbo
This big beast is another one of the Ford F250 7.3 V8 turbo Diesel's and belongs
to Steve Coper; he runs a Motorbike store in Warragul. These are a great hot-up.
They start with 132rwkW at around 7psi boost. With NizEdit and custom tuning,
211rwkW @ 18psi is easy.

The main work as far as tuning is concerned is in the auto trans and its shift
point. Sort this out and you now have a 3.5 ton racer. Oh, you have to remove
the 140kph speed limiter too.

We have now done a few of these with the best one belonging to Stuart Bishop.
Stuart's also had a custom Nizpro 4 inch exhaust and cranked out 232rwkW.

Ford F6
Typhoon
The F6
Typhoon belongs to Phil and it is currently the fastest F6 and XR6T manual in
Australia; covering the quarter mile in just 12.03sec's. It makes 380rwkW and
the peak number we have seen out of it has been
430rwkW on race unleaded.
It has a standard Nizpro Cobra Stage 2 kit plus a hi-volume fuel pump, Nizpro
steel billet flywheel and heavy duty clutch.

XR6 Turbo
Falcon
This is Mick's Silver XR6T and it is absolutely
brand new; better than new! Mick is super fussy. He started with a Nizpro Stage
1 last year and he quickly caught the bug; upgrading to a Stage 2 a few weeks
before Christmas. That's the good news about the
Cobra
line-up; upgrades are a walk in the park and
they don't cost any extra than just doing it in the first place.
Although Mick treats the car very carefully
as far as condition goes, he treats the mechanical stuff like he stole it! So
the auto didn't live for long.
We have just upgraded the trans to a full spec Yarra Valley trans including
Nizpro super duty flex plate.
So far Mick's
XR6T produces 320rwkW. As most of you know this is the cut-off point for reliabilitys sake. If you think this is as far as this T's mods are going to go,
I'd put money on a Stage 3 engine and brake upgrade not to far in the future.

'98 Saleen Mustang
This red rocket is a 1998 supercharged Saleen Mustang. This car was brought into
Australia by Craig Dean; owner of Crossover Car Conversions. It was originally
raced by Craig in the Targa Tasmania and in the GTP
production car championship.
We were
involved back then fitting and tuning a M8 MoTeC engine management system to it.
It was engine dyno'd in house and if my memory serves me correctly made over
500HP.
It has now
been sold to a new owner and we are currently fitting a NizEdit, custom tune and
intercooling.

Nismo 350Z
This belongs to one of our customers; Richard. In short
it is still N/A and cranks out 212.5rwkW @ 7600rpm and we run it to 8000rpm.
...................................................
BF F6 Typhoon
This is a
137km old BF F6 Typhoon manual. We are currently fitting a Cobra Stage 2 kit
with a plus pack that consists of a full exhaust system, dump pipe and cat. It
also gets a Hi-volume fuel pump. BA F6's with this kit achieve high 300rwkW.
After testing the new BF XR6T and being impressed with its 212.8rwkW, we
decided to run this F6 up in standard form to see if all the talk about the
amazing 6 speed auto was the whole story to these things running mid 13 second
quarters straight out of the box.
Well guess what; its
not just the auto. Stock standard it made 248rwkW so no wonder they're fast.
We then NizEdited it and by recalibration of the fuel, ignition, boost and with
our large knowledge of the dual variable cam timing with experience learned from
our 1200hp dyno mule the final figure even amazed me. In fact it's going to stir
things up so much I need to check some of the components on this car before
sharing the figures.
Update: The final results with this BF F6 were 386rwkW on 98 octane
fuel.

2004 Mustang
Another U.S Mustang came for a dyno as this owner
thought his car had a speed limiter. Well... it sort of did. 146rwkW seems to
be the limit to around 180kph down the front straight of Calder.
If only these Mustangs were fitted with XR6T engines then they would have a cult
car on their hands.

BA GT
Vince owns this standard looking GT, Only having it
a week he went looking for some extra grunt. Unfortunately for Vince, Nizpro was
not his first stop. Like lots of people, Vince didn't think we could count to 8.
Oh well, he found his way here eventually.
Testing his other custom
tune first the car was suffering from such bad detonation we had to abort the
first run. The second I feathered the throttle until I got to around 5000rpm and
then sunk the boot in. It recorded 258rwkW. We then gave it our own custom tune
and in the end finished with 267rwkW with the thing running perfectly.
When I tried to ring to make sure Vince was still smiling the line was busy...
Vince was already calling us... and yes... he's still smiling.

XR6 Turbo
Falcon
This shock
wave blue 6 speed belongs to another long term Nizpro customer of about 10
years. We built Brett a super fast VL Commodore which he's driving while keeping
a close eye on Nizpro's development of the T.
Well Brett's switched camps and as soon as he did
the Cobra Stage 2 kit went on. Brett's been bitten by the speed bug again and
has just ordered his Stage 3 engine... and knowing Brett as I do this wont be
the last of the mods.

VY GTS Australian Champion
This is Peter Floyd's Championship winning GTS HSV 2005 Production Car. This was
on the dyno just before the Symmons Plains round in Tasmania.
The car qualified on pole and broke the lap
record, then went on to win the 2005 championship. Peter had 100% reliability out
of his Gen 3 engine this year. It's controlled by a MoTeC M800 which is tuned by
Nizpro.
...................................................
2005 GT Mustang
Cop this for tuff looking. We dyno'd this for a
base line. It's about to get blown, at which point it will go as good as it
looks. At this stage 185rwkW is it.

VP HSV GEN3 Holden Ute
This has been a long project. This VP HSV Commodore
Ute has had a full restoration.
We have replaced all the
mechanicals and shoved a 6.5 litre Gen 3 into it. Its running a 2800rpm
converter and a Yarra Valley Automatic turbo 700 transmission. We converted the
rear suspension to adjustable coil overs. This was just prior to Christmas and I
reckon it will be hitting the track within the next couple of weeks.

XR6 Turbo
Falcon
Derek used to have an APS Stage 2. He has since
switched to one of our Cobra Stage 1's.
Peak power is the same but
mid range has been greatly improved and not an exhaust or CAI to be seen. The
perfect sleeper.

XR6 Turbo
Falcon Ute
This is a Ute we did some time ago, mind you the
owner Dean caught the bug and before long ended up with a Stage 3 Cobra kit and
engine.
Throw
in a twin 2.5 s/s exhaust, big fuel pump, some massive 355mm front brakes with 4
spot caliper and don't let me forget the koni suspension. The 6 speed manual now
turns out 392rwkW. Dean used to be a V8 head... not any more.
