Nizpro continues to set
the pace in several areas of high performance motoring, and is dedicated to
establishing new benchmarks in the design and excellence of its products and
services.
The following lists in brief a portion of Nizpro developments and achievements.

Nizpro had the 1st Registered Turbo Territory on Australian roads.
After establishing their own list of performance upgrades, Simon piloted the 2
tonne beast down the quarter mile in a blistering 11.7 @ 116mph.
>> Australia's Fastest BA XR6 Turbo:
Nizpro held the Fastest speed record over the quarter mile in the
hotly contested BA XR6 Turbo stakes, running through the traps at over 130mph.
>> VL Commodore:

Given Holden’s decision to equip its VL Commodore with Nissan six cylinder
engines, in particular the turbocharged RB30 version with which a sort of cult
car was created, it opened the door to the possibilities of creating a range of
potent engine packages.
Rather
than simply improving the existing combination with similar yet higher
performing parts, Nizpro elected to ‘think outside the square’ by developing a
comprehensive range of internal and external components designed to deliver
simply phenomenal performance.
The parts list included a custom inlet plenum, front mount intercooler system,
fabricated high flow extractors and exhaust system, crankshaft girdle, specific
cylinder head modifications, several custom camshaft grinds, and the list goes
on. Over several years, Nizpro continued to push the performance envelope
without ever using customer engines as guinea pigs. Instead, specific ‘mule’
engines were tested to destruction in an attempt to establish just how far these
engines could be pushed before literally falling in a heap on the engine dyno
floor.
Coinciding with this development, Nizpro also created various driveline
combinations capable of handling as much as 900 horsepower.
As the performance expectations of Nizpro customer increased, new combinations
were tested resulting in some stunning record-breaking performances:
- We built the first street driven 11-second VL Turbo Commodore
- We built the first street driven 10-second VL Turbo Commodore
- We built the first street driven 09-second VL Turbo Commodore
Nizpro’s reputation for massive performance was furthered thanks to incredible
reliability, with a number of these engines completing hundreds of passes
without problem.

Nizpro is, by the admission of a company that is arguably one of the world
leaders in engine management system design, MoTeC, one of if not the leading
MoTeC tuner in Australia.

Nizpro was the first Australian company to crack the 900hp barrier with this
engine, extracting 937 hp with absolute reliability.
>> Thunderdome:
Nizpro holds the AUSCAR lap record at the infamous Calder Park Thunderdome.
This situation arose when established AUSCAR racer Matthew White delivered his
race engine to Nizpro for a rebuild and a hoped power increase. This was just
after a new AUSCAR rule change whereby the fuel that had been allowed (high
performance leaded) was banned with pump unleaded used in its place. Ultimately,
or so it was thought, this would mean that the existing lap record set by John
Sidney Racing would last forever.
It didn’t! Nizpro built a lower compression engine for Matthew White that at its
maiden outing broke the lap record, which now stands.
>> Australia’s Fastest
Production Car:
Whereas it has been suggested that a specific modified Holden Commodore is
Australia’s fastest ever production car, in actual fact Nizpro owns this title.
In 2000 Nizpro built a short run homologation special intent on competing in
Nations Cup racing. The vehicle known as the Nissan 200 SX-R initially met the
homologation requirements set by PROCAR, however on realising its sheer speed,
PROCAR reneged and changed the rules.
11 200 SX-R’s were built, all with full ADR compliance and EPA Emission
standards. Nizpro still owns one of these vehicles and to this day it remains
fully road legal. That said, the car which is equipped with a full data logged
MoTeC, (hence all the following figures can be verified) achieves 288 km/h on
Philip Island’s front straight, 280 km/h on the back straight at Sandown and the
list goes on. Indeed, the actual top speed is in excess of 300 km/h.
Since
being banned from inclusion in Nations Cup, the company owned vehicle has
competed in Marque Sports where on its debut set the Marque Sports lap record at
PI, and it also circulates Sandown’s high speed track in 1:18 on treaded tyres.
If this isn’t enough, in ‘stock trim’ (EPA and ADR compliant), the vehicle has
achieved an 11.2 @ 128mph over the quarter mile on road tyres.
>> Circuit Racing
Vehicles:
Nizpro has built a number of circuit racing cars, along with numerous engines.
One example is a Toyota Supra that in 1999 competed in the Bathurst 3-hour
against a bevy of Porsches and Ferraris and which led the race up until the 2
hour 40 minute mark. Unfortunately a wheel nut problem at the final pit stop saw
the car slip to 3rd. All the same the team and the opposition were amazed at the
incredible performance and that they had achieved so much against such powerful
and well healed opposition!
>> FWD Drag Racing Record:

Four years ago Nizpro built Australia’s fastest front wheel drive street car. It
was a daily driven front wheel drive Nissan Pulsar SSS.
>> Southern 80:

Nizpro constructed a twin turbocharged alloy Chev that won the Southern 80 ski
boat race.
>>
Rally Tasmania:
In successive years, Nizpro 200 SX-R’s came 2nd, 2nd and 3rd Outright against
some of Australia’s fastest 4WD racers, Jim Richards in his Porsche etc.
>>
Nissan 350Z:
